He has be consistently sick every other month since he was about 5 months old.
Each time, getting progressively worse. He just got over having a really terrible cold.
We can chalk up a bulk of his colds to the fact that we have a school aged brother, and Eczema.
M's eczema was by far, the worst he's had it when he was smaller.
There were times when he'd have an outbreak that was uncontrollable, and under only those circumstances we would use our prescribed steroid creams to get it in check. If you know much about them, you'll know steroid creams weaken the immune system, amoung other serious side effects when used in excess. A weakened immune system of a baby born during winter and flu season brings nothing positive.
This time, it started out seeming like a little bit of teething.
Drooling like a madman, fevers, and a change in diaper contents ( if you catch my drift )
After a few days, with no appearance or feel of any new teeth, and the same symptoms
I decided to perhaps rule out teething. Maybe another cold? wrong. He then developed pink eye. IN BOTH EYES! This poor baby has had a rough first year. He'll be 1 in about 2 weeks, and I'm praying for a change in pace, for his sake.
