Merry Christmas !
I love the holidays, but thank god it's all over. Around here we can't wait til the day after thanksgiving, because that means it's time to put up the tree. We do it on this day every year - for optimal christmas decoration enjoyment. ( ha ) We make it a day, we have treats, and decorate and spend time together as a whole. I really do look forward to it yearly, but I have to honestly admit that by mid december I want it gone. I wait day after day in anticipation for midnight on december 25th so I can take it all down. It's a wonder I last that long. Does anyone else feel this way? I just want my living room back, and the calm after the storm known as christmas. We had a wonderful christmas celebration this year, though very small scale with just the four of us. I'm really hoping to make it out to the beautiful farm that My husband's grandparents own in Illinois Next time, to spend it with all of the family. . But until then I'm relieved it's getting back to normal around here. Hope everyone had a spectacular holiday season. And Now, a few shots of our morning.

I hate the fact that I have never met your children. I see them grow through the computer screen. Its like playing a weird facebook game!!
In response to Nicole's post: I also hate the fact that I have never met my gorgeous little nephew or seen the family for many years.
It makes me appreciate this beautiful Blogg so much more as we can still watch the kids grow and hear the fun news as it happens.
