Ten Things Thursday: Me (3)

1. I cut my own bangs this week.

2. I like the idea and seemingly simple lifestyle of ‘Farm life’. I’d love to raise my boys on a small farm somewhere. Running til their hearts content, while the summer sun sets on our little patch of land.

3. I like the process of getting older and the knowledge and self appreciation that comes with it

4. I’m currently teaching myself french. Though there won’t be many opportunities to use it around here.

5. I have really bad anxiety of being home alone – at night. I absolutely hate it.

6. I used to want to be a kindergarten teacher, I also (at one time or another) Have wanted to own my own florist business, my own bakery, write a childrens book ( this is still on my list…)

7. I’m a big reader that is when I find the time to read which isnt often, so I usually have a couple books going at once to make up for lost time. (this is probably why it makes me smile everytime the baby sits on the floor looking through his books)

8. My children ( and people in general) are my primary subjects, but I would love to do nature photography .. Lakes, and mountains. All the beautiful places.

9. One night my (now) husband showed up at the house I shared with my roommate (who I was having a few issues with, and trying to find a new place to live) – called me on the phone and asked me to come outside ..where I found him holding flowers and he told me ” I want to take you with me, pack enough for a few days, and we’ll get the rest of your stuff later” – and that’s how we came to live together, and later become married.

10. I don’t tend to make lasting relationships with many women – for whatever reason, we slowly drift apart until we’re no longer friends at all. The one exception to this is my friend Lynne, who I have been friends with since 8th grade. – we once lost touch for awhile (I don’t recall why) and when we finally found each other again we had both had a baby, both boys, both named Jonathan. That’s how close we are. (side note: we both also ended up marrying guys who are twins. both have twin sisters. – just an interesting coincidence)
