We did the usual pre - Easter activities today. Dyed eggs. Tie-Dyed eggs to be exact, because around here we're too cool for simple single color dyed eggs. We also made easter cupcakes. Well, cupcakes to be eaten on easter - not that they resemble easter cupcakes. Theyre not pastel, or particularly "easter-y" Because again, around here we want a delicious chocolate covered, chocolate cupcake, and that just doesn't scream easter.
Jon is officially on spring break. I have one rule, and one rule only for this holiday.
Get as much fresh air as possible. So Every morning we take a walk after breakfast. Which we all enjoy because the sun warms you just enough without being too hot that early. We also Take an evening walk after dinner. We usually stop at the park on the way home, and Jon plays with some friends for a bit. Then we head in and I start preparing Jack ( who, coincidentally is relaxed from the walk) for bed.

hopefully he finds them all tomorrow so you don't find one in a few months. ewww
lol. we dye for the tradition and fun of it. we don't hunt the dyed eggs. we hunt candy filled plastic ones...which are more fun to find anyway!
Wow, you put a lot of energy into this holiday... good job, mom!
yes. terribly taxing to drop a dye tablet into 3 tablespoons vinegar and let your kid go to town.
It's a rough life, I'm glad you're facing the challenge so boldly. With a tie-dye egg in each hand and endless love flowing from your heart.
I love you all so much. I miss you constantly. I love seeing the pictures you put up, they bring me there, if only for that split second.
I meant stuffing the plastic eggs as well...
