The Haps

It’s been a busy, stressful last few days around here. It’s not due to this seasons festivities either Although those are in full swing. We’re preparing for a very very big day in the next week or so and will be busy making preparations for that, as well as attending a birthday party, A Christmas party and doin’ the usual Christmas time crafting and family activities. So I probably won’t be around much, and when I am it’s probably not going to be that exciting for a bit.

I’ve hardly picked up my camera in over a week. It’ll be getting plenty of use here soon, and then I’ll share that with you, as well as what our ‘big day’ is.

for now we’ll be doing a bunch of this:

•Drinkin’ hot chocolate -it’s so cold here.
•Christmas crafts - trees,cotton ball snowmen, homemade cards etc
•Wrapping lots of presents
•Watching Christmas movies. The grinch (both), Nightmare before Christmas
•Christmas cookie decorating with friends
•School parties and plays
•Cuddling under warm blankets
•NOT telling our friends Santa is not real (Hello, Jon!)
•Sending out christmas cards
•Starting School vacation! that means sleep-ins!
•Being thankful for the opportunity to do all of the things above and for the fact that we are fortunate enough to spend this time together
